Tess is dedicated to empowering patients by focusing on more than just their symptoms. Her approach is driven by understanding what motivates her patients, identifying the reasons that prevent them from recovering, and providing them the tools to take charge of their well-being.
Tess has taken a special interest in concussion treatment, holistic health, chronic pain management and orthopedic rehabilitation. ‘I have encountered (too) many patients who experience unexplained symptoms, often feeling misunderstood and lost in their journey. It is my mission to enhance our understanding, to support people in regaining their confidence and make the invisible visible.’ Outside of work, Tess enjoys exploring the city by bike to honor her Dutch roots, joining one of Toronto’s many running groups, and trying out new coffee spots.
